District Visit
Wednesday, the City of Superior thanked Dave for a $2 million appropriation to improve the Fraser Shipyard - the second part of a three-part project. He visited Green Bay Packaging in Wausau on Thursday to get an update on how the company is working on lighter, more environmentally friendly packaging for soldiers' meals ready-to-eat (MREs). On Friday he checked in at Berry Plastics in Chippewa Falls to talk about the progress of work on another improvement to MRE packaging that will make it more resistant to tough conditions and attempts to tamper with soldiers' food.
